Well, I have to agree with Charlotte Allen on one thing at least ...

... and that is that Charlotte Allen is stupid. Although I assume she's under the mistaken impression that having this screed published will cause some of us to assume she's not really a complete idiot. It doesn't.

I am perfectly willing to admit that I myself am a classic case of female mental deficiencies.

The answer to the question, I suppose. One deficiency seems to be cogent writing and fixation on trivia.
