And to make matters worse, now the administration wants us to believe that Obama was only told about the AIG bonus payments last week. Either the administration is flat-out lying, or Tim Geithner is incompetent and should be fired. ...I think this behavior follows from an attempt to continue to project the image that Obama believed in his claims during the campaign with his capitulation to monied interest of the banking industry, the insurance industry, etc.
Obama has the backing of an electorate that wants certain things done, but those are not the ones he's serving so far. He's catering to those who hate his guts. I don't see how this can turn out well ...
